Welcome to your chance to be part of the Fancy Dress Swim with the Church in Ocean Park. "Fancy Dress" is a European term for "in costume," and such plunging has become a fund-raising fad that we here by the Pier just couldn't resist.

 

Look for our banner and treasure chest of Fancy Dress, Thursday, June 29, just south of the Santa Monica Pier, before the first concert of the Twilight Dance Series, a free concert series on Thursdays throughout the summer. We’ll gather at 6 p.m. for a 6:30 plunge.

 

You can join us! You can sign up to sponsor a swimmer baring their ego for a good cause, or you can come in costume or just as you are, to swim or wade with us! For $10, you can choose one of our carefully selected extravagant thrift dresses and other accessories and take this dip for charity, too!
